They are single prints; the block is only used once before re-inking and re-drawing; although a lower quality ghost print can be produced from the ink remaining on the block

Images can be drawn out of inked plates using rags, feathers, scrim, gauze, cocktail sticks and earbuds. Alternatively items can be place on inked plates and then printed. When they are taken off the plate they leave a ghost image and these plates can also be printed with
